RESPECTING YOUR PRIVACY -  Our Privacy Policy

We know how important your privacy is to you.  As funeral service professionals, we have a legal and professional obligation to keep confidential all personal information we receive from you.  Our relationship with you is founded on trust and we are committed to maintaining that trust.  For these reasons, we have created the following privacy policy.  It confirms our dedication to protecting your privacy and maintaining the trust you have placed in us.

This policy covers our treatment of the personal information we collect from you.

 

Why we collect personal information

The personal information we collect is needed to:   provide our services, coordinate services you require from third parties such as clergy, organists, cemeteries, crematoriums, coroners, cemetery equipment providers, newspaper publishers,airlines or other transportation providers, and other funeral service providers; comply with legislative and regulatory requirements;  assist you in applying for grants or financial benefits; notify government agencies to cease the payment of benefits such as Canada Pension and Old Age Security; identify the purchasers and beneficiaries of prepaid and at need arrangements; provide funeral merchandise and services you have requested for which we require third parties such as livery operators (limousines and coaches), urn plate engravers, printers, and outer burial container providers.

 

How personal information is used

We do not sell, barter, trade or give away the personal information you have provided to us.

We will only share your information with third parties if we are required to by law or you have either expressly authorized us to, or, if it is required for the provision to you of a service or product supplied by another business or organization as part of our services to you.

We take all reasonable precautions to ensure that your personal information is kept safe from loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

 

Privacy on this web site

Use of the On-line Condolence service, Leave a Comment section or Ask The Director service offered on this site is voluntary and users are not required to leave personal information unless they choose to  do so.  We will not sell, barter, trade or give away this information to others.  Any information collected from this site will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
